WHAT IS SPORTS PSYCHOLOGY?
Sports Psychology deals with interaction between psychological factors and performance in sports. Professional and amateur athletes may seek the help of a clinical sports psychologist for assistance with coping with the pressures of competition, recovering from an injury, combating burnout, or generally to improve motivation, performance and endurance.
